What are the candles colors and meanings?

Basically I want to know what the colors of the candles stand for. As in red means *blank* ect.

    unless it’s religious, candle colors have no ‘meaning’.

    The meaning behind a candle’s color are common in Witchcraft and other magical religions.

    White: Known as the “universal” candle, as it may be replaced with any other color candle for spells or rituals. This candle is used for protection, purification, removing hexes, healing, and for meditation purposes.

    Yellow: Creativity, persuasion, intellect, imagination, happiness.

    Gold: Commonly used for protection, gaining riches, clairvoyance, psychic abilities.

    Silver: Dispelling negativity, clairvoyance, intuition, understanding.

    Blue: Tranquility, peace, calmness, truthfulness, happiness.

    Pink: Love, romance, relationships, marriage, friendship, showing affection.

    Violet: ESP, calming, awareness.

    Red: Lust in relationships. Intimacy, sexual desire and gratification.

    Purple: Psychic abilities, obtaining goals, mediumship, intuition.

    Green: Luck, fortune, riches, fertility.

    Gray: takes away from the intensity of negative energies.

    Orange: Energy work, increasing positive influences.

    Brown: Concentration, grounding excess power.

    Black: Used for hexes and hex removal, dispelling negativity. Bringing things to an end.

    When it comes to questions about meanings it depends on who you are and where you come from.
    Color meanings today are not the same as color meanings were 100 years ago.
    such as white used to represent death not black.
    blue was purity not white.
    ect. ect.
    you’ll find tons of websites listing the new or old meanings. Look at as many meanings as you can find and decide for yourself which ones you thing fit better.
