I like the ideas posted about using crayon or colored wax to add color to your candle. Acryclic paint I’m not so sure about…that might be ok for decorative candles but I’m not sure how they will burn or if there would be any toxicity.
You might even try inscribing the candle with one of the ancient alphabets labeling it blue (or whatever color you need).

The only way I can think of to colour a candle once it’s made is to coat it with another colour of wax. You might be able to paint hot wax onto the candle but it might not stick very well. The other alternative is to melt some wax, colour it with candle dye or maybe crayons, and then dip the candles in it. This means that you must have a metal container to melt the wax in which is tall enough to dip the whole candle in. It seems like an awful lot of trouble either way, messy and fussy. Candles come in just about every colour there is, why not just buy ones the right colour in the first place?
paint? food coloring?
ritual?
try melting the candles and add crayons to them of the shades u are interested in ..I am sure that will help.
Try a large craft store - they should have paint that will adhere to candles in the acrylic paint section.
all you would have to do is get whatever color wax you want, melt it and redip the white candles into it.
