How do you ship candles without them melting?
DeeDee asked:
I made some cute candles, and I wanted to send them to my grandma who lives in Texas. I live in California, and I am just scared that they will melt or the jars will break. What shipping supplies do I need to prevent this from happening?

Pack well with bubble wrap, dry ice, mark fragile, sturdy box, like the ones at liquor stores
If you package them with plenty of padding the jars should be fine. I’ve mailed candles lots of times over the years and they never arrived melted. I’m in Texas, and I’ve shipped them as far away as Germany or Poland.
Use a good sturdy shipping box. Wrap each jar in it’s own bubble wrap. Place bubble wrap on the bottom of the box, and around each jar and some more on top. Seal the box securely with clear wrapping tape.
