I’m thinking about making my own unity candle for my wedding. I’ve seen tons of sites where they customize candles and things and it looks like it couldnt be that hard. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of paint I should use to paint on the candles or if there is any special kind of printer paper I could use to transfer something onto the candle.

I would go to Michaels or any craft store and go to the candle isle, i think they have special paint for candles. If not you could at the very least ask someone at the store.

I’ve painted on candles and given them away as Christmas gifts.

Buy Delta Ceramcoat Candle & Soap Painting Medium (Michael’s sells this) and follow the instructions on the bottle. I used gold metallic acrylic paint and painted paisley and ornate designs on my candles.
