Here is a good one, i burn candles in my house everyday, so I know the spots?
Joyce D asked:
where I put my candles do not receive ANY breeze. Why do they usually just burn calm and straight flame, tall and proud, yet other times one or two burn with a flame that flip flops everywhere? Same place not burned down too far, can even be new candle? could it be negative energy in my home?

its just air flow and the amount of oxygen in that place, however dont start to many candles or you might burn down your house! Never leave them unattended.
draft somewhere……ooooor negative energy.
no, burning too many candles can give you lead poisoning, or carbon monoxide poisoning.,so be careful
candles don’t ussually create a breeze of smell.
unless its like the expensive candles like “fregrence oils”
and there is no such thing as “negitive energy”
We have exactly the same thing happen, it is really wierd!
We have open fires, which I know create all kinds of quirky draughts and are probably a good part of the answer in our case.
But that’s obviously not what’s causing your candles to do that, as you know that there are no draughts where they are.
My only guess is that it could be some variation in the quality of the candles themselves. We find that candles from the same batch will sometimes burn at different rates, even in areas where we know there are no draughts.
Negative energy is another possibility. Have you a digital camera? It might be worth taking shots in the areas where the candles are to see if you can see any orbs or mist or indeed anything else on the photos.
I know orbs have largely been explained as being caused by dust/moisture but we have nevertheless caught one or two that we are doubtful of having been caused in that way.
I’ll be watching your other answers with interest!
You’ll find that the weather is exceptional of the days/nights you find the breezy candles. You see, I too have a home in which I know the draft patterns. On normal days, we’re pretty good. On especially windy days, with the wind coming from the west. my sofa is the draftiest spot in the whole place … it’s not that I feel an apparent wind, it’s more that I am cold for no real reason.
The candles are a great barometer for you to know that at tiny levels, you have a draft. Just try to follow it and you can find where you are leaking air … or perhaps, where the air is pushing itself inside the hardest. This is how I found out that my front windows (which face west) aren’t sealed behind the woodwork. You know how they install the window is to place it inside the hall … then they shove insulation in and put up woodwork? I had no insulation and my woodwork on the outside wasn’t sealed well.
There may not be a breeze but there is airflow when ever furnace or air conditioners are running. Also be sure to trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn and buy good quality candles and burn candles at least 1 hour for each inch of diameter for most efficient burning.
